Position Summary:

Timberline Construction Corp. ("TCC") is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager with experience in talent acquisition and onboarding.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The TA Manager will proactively drive and be responsible for researching, developing and executing an effective and proactive Talent Acquisition strategy, which aligns with and supports the company's business strategy
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for open position(s)
  • Conduct recruitment and outreach efforts for all exempt, non-exempt, Co-op, and temporary employee positions including job posting and advertising, initial screening, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking.
  • Work with HR team during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Organize, attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions and other networking opportunities
  • Oversee onboarding; schedule and facilitate New Hire Orientation Sessions, prepare all materials, ensure I-9/E-Verify Compliance.
  • Process new hire paperwork and maintain accurate personnel records and files relative to benefits, PTO accruals, promotions and wage histories.
  • Handle monthly billings from benefits providers, reviewing for accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience, preferably in a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources capacity
  • Construction industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent team player who exhibits an eagerness to learn, strong collaborative skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of management.
