About

Vinmar International is looking for a reliable and skilled CDL Driver to join our logistics team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and products safely and efficiently between our facilities and to customer locations. This position requires a strong adherence to safety protocols, excellent driving skills, and the ability to maintain a schedule. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), experience with freight transportation, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload materials as necessary, ensuring that cargo is secured properly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and other relevant documentation.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

This position may require some overnight travel as needed.

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
  • Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in freight transportation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
