Role Overview:

The AI Data Analyst will be responsible for data understanding, validation, KPI verification, and ensuring reporting outputs meet business expectations on the GCP platform. This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure dashboards, data models, and pipelines deliver accurate, consistent, and trusted insights.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business teams to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting logic.

Conduct data profiling, validation, and reconciliation against source systems.

Perform KPI validation to ensure accurate metric definitions and calculations.

Execute report/dashboard QA, including both visual and functional testing.

Lead and support UAT cycles for analytics deliverables.

Validate BigQuery data models, pipeline outputs, and semantic layer consistency.

Document data mappings, transformation rules, data quality issues, and resolution steps.

Act as the onsite liaison between business teams and offshore development teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong
    SQL expertise (BigQuery SQL preferred) with hands-on data analysis.
  • Experience in
    data validation, KPI verification, and BI report QA.
  • Working knowledge of
    GCP analytics stack: BigQuery, Data Catalog, Looker, Cloud Storage.
  • Understanding of
    semantic modeling, metadata, and data lineage concepts.
  • Familiarity
    with
    UAT planning, execution, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an
    onsite–offshore delivery model.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with anomaly detection or statistical analysis.

Exposure to LookML (nice-to-have).
