DSP (Direct Support Professional) -PRN

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN- Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be available 1 to 2 weekends a month and have a passion for providing care and support to individuals in need, particularly in a Group Home settings.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Ensure residents' safety and well-being at all times
- Administer medications following proper protocols and guidelines
- Help residents with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of residents' care and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for residents
- Uphold resident rights and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Previous experience in caregiving, related field preferred is a plus
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations in an HCS group home setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
- Certification in First Aid is a plus
