Overview:

We are seeking a driven and service-focused Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role follows the direction of the General Manager, the company, and the brand to lead the team, uphold brand standards, and maintain a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is committed to delivering excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Breakfast, and Maintenance.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest service and promptly resolve guest issues.
  • Support hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members to deliver strong performance and engagement.
  • Maintain compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Monitor daily operations, staffing levels, expenses, and inventory to support financial goals.
  • Lead or support property initiatives such as quality assurance, guest satisfaction improvements, and operational efficiency projects.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty as required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout all hotel areas.
  • Assist with reporting, scheduling, payroll entry, and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in hotel management systems (PMS), Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools.
  • Commitment to excellent guest service and team development.

Pay: $50, $55,000.00 per year
