Assistant Store Manager

Ariat International, founded in 1993, is a rapidly growing worldwide leader in high performance footwear and apparel for equestrian enthusiasts. Ariat is driven by world class design, innovation and technology all focused on delivering the highest quality, authentic Western, English, and Work footwear and apparel to our customers. Ariat is opening a new Brand Shop located in Larimer Square in June, 2025. We are looking for talented Full-Time Assistant Store Manager who will support the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent while fostering a culture of strong communication and teamwork to ensure a seamless balance between operational, visual, and customer priorities. The Assistant Store Manager will cultivate an environment of exceptional customer service and act as a brand ambassador reflective of the company's values. The role requires clear communication of objectives and expectations to drive a consistent store experience and ensure excellent operational and visual standards.

Responsibilities

· Fosters a culture of strong communication and teamwork

· Cultivates and demonstrates an environment of exceptional customer service

· Facilitates an energized pace and positive service environment

· Ensures compliance with shipments, transfers, and restock standards

· Adheres to internal and external Loss Prevention procedures

· Sets clear objectives and expectations for store employees

Requirements

· 3+ years Retail Management experience (Store Manager experience preferred)

· Exceptional leadership, selling, and customer service skills

· Strong visual merchandising skills and business acumen focused on results

· Experienced in coaching, counseling & conflict resolution

· Independent, proactive, results-driven work ethic

· High School Diploma required (College Degree preferred)

· Must be at least 18 years of age or older

· Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks

· Ability to deliver excellent customer service while implementing loss prevention practices

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
