Role Description

This is a hybrid contract role for a Senior ServiceNow Developer – ITSM, ITOM, SecOps & Integrations, based in Irving, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. Key responsibilities include configuring and customizing ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps applications, integrating third-party systems with ServiceNow, and leveraging best practices in software development to ensure scalable and efficient outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver innovative solutions will be a critical aspect of this role.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Senior ServiceNow Developer
to join our platform engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, integrate, and deploy ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules including
ITSM, ITOM, HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and SecOps
.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on
ServiceNow development
,
REST API integrations
,
JavaScript scripting
, and
solution architecture
within a fast-paced Agile/SAFe environment.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineers and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality platform enhancements.

What You'll Do
Platform Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and deploy solutions across the enterprise ServiceNow platform.
• Implement
  out-of-the-box configurations
  ,
  customizations
  , and
  low-code solutions
  .
• Build and maintain integrations using
  RESTful APIs
  and JSON.

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Provide architectural recommendations, coding standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to design decisions, technical direction, and solution architectures.
• Ensure alignment with SDLC, security, compliance, and audit requirements.

Systems Integration & Delivery

• Work with engineering teams to integrate new and existing ServiceNow capabilities.
• Support continuous delivery, DevSecOps processes, and Agile ceremonies.
• Manage deployments and ensure seamless release cycles.

Support & Enhancements

• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and deliver production fixes as needed.
• Provide technical support for ServiceNow platform functionality.
• Collaborate with product owners and end users to enhance platform usability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years
  of overall IT experience
• 5+ years
  of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including:
• ITSM
• ITOM
• HAM Pro
• SAM Pro
• SecOps
• 3+ years
  of JavaScript development experience
• Strong experience building and consuming
  RESTful APIs
• Deep understanding of JSON and data transformation
• Ability to design scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions
• Experience working in SAFe
  , Agile/Scrum, or DevSecOps environments
• Bachelor's degree
  in Computer Science, MIS, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, ITOM, CIS, CAD, etc.)
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and low-code/no-code features
• Background in enterprise security, IT operations, or automation
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
