About the role:

The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Management Department in the daily operations of our housing properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and managed efficiently. This role involves assisting with tenant relations, property maintenance coordination, administrative tasks, and compliance with housing regulations.

Supervisor:

Regional Property Manager

Responsibilities:

Assist the Property Management Department in overseeing the daily operations of affordable housing properties.

Answer incoming Property Management phone calls.

Maintain the Property Management calendar as needed.

Support tenant relations, including creating and delivering late notices, pest control notices, other communications, and lease packets.

Coordinate maintenance requests, print invoices, and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance work.

Collect quotes from vendors.

Recruit new vendors and manage existing vendor relationships.

Assist in scheduling regular property inspections and follow up on identified issues.

Manage scheduling preventative maintenance and requirements to prepare an empty property for tenancy.

Provide access to properties for various vendors.

Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations and standards.

Support the organization and execution of tenant meetings and community-building activities.

Provide administrative support, including general filing, maintaining recertification logs, data entry, court filings, and correspondence with tenants and contractors.

Collaborate with the Property Management Team and other staff to improve property management processes and resident satisfaction.
