Front Desk Reservationist

Muddy Paws Bathhouse, Bend's premiere pet grooming salon, is looking for a dedicated, experienced individual to join our team as a front desk reservationist. We're a neighborhood business known for providing clean, friendly, safe, and—above all—compassionate dog grooming. We're seeking someone who shares our values and can uphold the supportive, high-standard culture we've built.

This is a full-time position at $18/hour plus tips. This is not an entry level position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, voicemails, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule and adjust appointments for bathing and grooming services
• Check clients in and out for appointments, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions
• Provide a la carte services such as nail trims and teeth brushing
• Maintain and sanitize front desk tools, shared workspaces, and kennels
• Keep the Self-Wash area clean, organized, and stocked between appointments
• Laundering and folding towels
• Cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, windows, etc)

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced, detail-heavy, or pet industry setting is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Confidence managing high-volume scheduling and client communication
• Ability to read people, adapt quickly, and handle fast-paced, information-heavy situations with professionalism
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and lift up to 60 pounds consistently throughout the shift

Schedule & Availability:

Full-time team members typically work 4 days per week, with shifts ranging from 9 to 10 hours each. Our salon is open Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

This role requires consistent availability and reliability. Please confirm your realistic availability for the next six months, including weekends and holidays.
