  • Conduct ride-alongs or field evaluations to reinforce standards and identify improvement areas.
  • Develop quality-control procedures for inspections, installations, and service work.

3. Project Oversight & Construction Management

  • Oversee fire alarm, sprinkler, kitchen suppression, ventilation, and related life-safety projects from planning to completion.

  • Review plans, submittals, and scope documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct periodic site visits and progress checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and field communication with technicians.
  • Ensure timely closeout packages, inspections, and turnover to clients.

4. Compliance & Industry Standards

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of NFPA codes (NFPA 13, 25, 72, 96, 17A, 2001, etc.).
  • Ensure all work meets AHJ, state licensing, and local jurisdiction requirements.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Coach team members on best practices, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Foster a healthy, growth-oriented company culture aligned with N8 Fire & Safety values.

6. Customer Relations & Quality Assurance

  • Support customer communication for large projects, PM programs, and service accounts.
  • Ensure customers receive accurate reports, clear expectations, and quality results.
  • Resolve escalated issues and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience scaling or managing operations within a service-based company.
  • Experience overseeing construction projects or installations in the fire protection industry (or a related trade).
  • Strong understanding of NFPA codes and fire/life safety requirements.
  • Ability to create training programs, process documentation, and SOPs.
  • Experience managing field technicians, subcontractors, or project teams.
