Role Summary

The Operations Supervisor serves as the critical bridge between high-level strategy and daily field execution. Supporting the Operations Manager, you will execute daily logistical and administrative functions to keep our division running smoothly.

You will be the operational problem-solver responsible for maintaining accurate crew schedules, coordinating fleet maintenance, and overseeing the inventory and distribution of medical supplies. This role requires a hands-on leader who ensures facility upkeep and monitors policy compliance, guaranteeing that our fleet and workforce are fully prepared to meet the demands of interfacility transports and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet & Logistics Management

• Fleet Readiness: Coordinate routine preventative maintenance and repairs for the fleet to ensure zero downtime during critical shifts.
• Inventory Control: Oversee the ordering, stocking, and distribution of medical supplies and station consumables. Ensure all units are stocked according to state regulations and company standards.
• Facility Management: Manage the general upkeep of the station/base of operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for crews.

Workforce Scheduling & Support

• Staffing: Create and maintain accurate crew schedules, handling immediate staffing challenges, call-outs, and vacation coverage to ensure operational readiness.
• Field Support: Act as a primary point of contact for crews regarding operational issues, equipment failures, or logistical roadblocks during their shifts.

Compliance & Administration

• Policy Enforcement: Monitor compliance with operational policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Reporting: Assist the Operations Manager in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet costs, supply usage, and overtime.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Logistics, Dispatch, EMS Operations, or a related high-tempo field.
• Proven experience with team scheduling and workforce management.
• Experience with fleet maintenance tracking or inventory management is a plus.

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid Driver's License: Required (Must have a clean driving record).
• EMS Certification: Current EMT or Paramedic licensure is strongly preferred.
• Note: For candidates with exceptional operational, logistical, and leadership experience who lack certification, we are willing to provide training.

Skills & Abilities

• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with scheduling software and Google Software (Sheets, Docs, Forms).
• Problem Solving: Ability to pivot quickly when operational challenges arise (e.g., vehicle breakdowns, staffing shortages).
• Communication: Ability to effectively bridge the gap between management strategy and field staff needs.

Schedule

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may occasionally include weekends or on-call rotation to support field crews.
