*This position is in office 5 days per week*

Key Responsibilities:

As a Tax Manager at Miller & Company, you'll be a key contributor to our success. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and oversee the tax department's workflow, ensuring effective and efficient use of software and processes.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, balancing workloads while offering growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high-value service and a deep understanding of their tax needs.
• Lead tax planning initiatives and deliver top-tier customer service.
• Help shape the overall vision and growth of the firm.
• Communicate clear, actionable directions to the team and ensure alignment with the firm's core values and goals.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in public accounting (CPA firm).
• Minimum of 3 tears of leadership experience
• Licensed CPA with deep expertise in tax
• In depth knowledge of payroll and sales tax filings
• In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation, auditing, and budgeting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office and QuickBooks; familiarity with UltraTax and other Thomson Reuters software is required
• Proficiency with CCH Axccess required
