J9 Builders is a construction company headquartered in Harrisburg, PA. We are seeking a full-time, dependable, Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage hotel construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate would possess strong leadership skills, an understanding of construction processes and would be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, manage subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, while adhering to project timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Supervise and manage daily new hotel builds and hotel renovations from start to finish.

· Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, providing guidance and support as needed.

· Adhere to project schedule.

· Enforce quality and safety control.

· Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.

· Report project progress daily.

· Effectively communicate verbally and digitally.

· Ability to read commercial construction blueprints, specifications, and ability to communicate plans to team, and develop project plans and schedules.

· Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors.

Skills and Requirements

· Construction experience and knowledge required.

· Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions.

· Review and interpret blueprints.

· 3 years Superintendent experience required.

· Demonstrated experience leading a team.

· Travel required - Daily location will vary based on current job site.

· Conduct/attend all kickoff, status, and recap meetings.

· Use of Wrike Software (Project Management platform) experience a plus.

· Must be organized.

· Must be a Team Player.

· Must have a valid driver's license.

· Must be willing to travel up to 5 days a week (drive and/or fly).
