What You'll Do
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for converting inbound leads, outbound
warm leads, and missed opportunities into scheduled services and new revenue. This role
requires strong communication skills, comfort with fast-paced conversations, and the ability to
follow a proven sales process that emphasizes value over price. ISRs are a key connection
point between marketing, scheduling, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Convert inbound phone calls, web leads, and text inquiries into scheduled pest control services.
- Make outbound warm calls to follow up on unclosed opportunities, expiring trials, and churn reactivation lists.
- Deliver a strong value-based pitch using Alta's sales framework (value ? urgency ? price ? close).
- Execute daily call, text, and follow-up cadences using HubSpot and Zoom.
- Achieve or exceed monthly revenue, conversion, close-rate, and sales activity KPIs.
Customer Communication
- Clearly educate customers on Alta's services, pricing, safety standards, and quarterly service model.
- Maintain professional, friendly, and confident communication at all times.
- Ensure customers understand next steps, scheduling, and service expectations.
- Use one unified communication channel (Zoom) to maintain full conversation visibility.
Lead Management & Documentation
- Track all leads, calls, dispositions, and follow-ups accurately in HubSpot.
- Properly classify marketing vs. sales leads according to the new lead-tagging framework.
- Document customer needs, objections, and next steps in the CRM in real time.
- Follow all required scripts, workflows, and compliance guidelines.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager on performance coaching, call reviews, and skills development.
- Partner with Marketing to understand campaigns, promotions, and messaging.
- Coordinate with Dispatch and Operations for scheduling accuracy and real-time service updates.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, training sessions, and skill workshops.
Requirements:
What You Bring to the Table
- Strong verbal communication and objection-handling abilities.
- Experience in Pest Control sales, call center, customer service, or appointment setting preferred.
- Ability to think quickly, adapt to customer needs, and follow a structured sales process.
- High attention to detail in CRM documentation and follow-up tasks.
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with daily/weekly targets.
- Technically proficient and comfortable operating across a multi-platform communication environment, including CRM systems, unified communication tools, and internal workflow automations.
