About

The IT Project Manager leads technology projects from initiation to completion. The individual in this role is responsible for managing timelines, scope, objectives, risks, and issues, as well as stakeholder communications. The Project Manager follows PMO standards and partners with technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery that meets expected outcomes.

Requirements: Education
Bachelor's Degree Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Req
Work Experience
4-7 years Project Management experience Req
2-4 years Experience in an IT environment Pref
Experience in systems development life cycle Req
Experience managing processes and systems implementation projects with a formalized methodology Req
Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office technologies, including Office Suite, Project, Visio, and SharePoint
Strong facilitation, leadership, and team management skills
Solid skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making
Working knowledge of quality assurance principles and system testing
Working knowledge of the interdependencies between/across businesses to proactively identify risks/issues that could have an impact on business results
Ability to manage all phases of projects; and to get things done on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards
Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts in clear concise language; to convey clear, concise information in verbal, written, electronic, and other communication formats; and to demonstrate active listening while engaging others
Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support
Ability to facilitate the resolution of different views
Ability to assess situations, provide counsel, and identify solutions that resolve disputes/issues, while considering the best interests of all parties; to develop and implement short and long-term solutions; and to apply effective problem solving and decision-making to address business needs and issues
Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of significance; to assess a situation, conduct research, analyze data, and arrive at valid conclusions; and to develop and execute plans
