Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during meal preparation.
• Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques.
• Experience working in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking methods.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and meal preparation for special diets is a plus.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning.
