About
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a Product & Technology team supporting an enterprise data platform used for analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the business.
This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines within an Azure-based data platform, working closely with product, data, and business teams to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Write performant SQL and apply good data modelling practices
Support batch and near–real-time data processing use cases
Work with Azure services such as Event Hubs, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault
Contribute to data governance and security best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions
Required experience
Strong experience as a Data Engineer in an Azure environment
Hands-on Databricks and PySpark development experience
Solid SQL and relational database knowledgeExperience supporting data pipelines in production environments
Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
Exposure to streaming solutions (Structured Streaming, Auto Loader)
Experience with Unity Catalog or data governance tooling
Salesforce or Data Cloud integrations
6-month contract
Immediate or short-notice starters preferred
