Role: Mechanical Design Engineer Salary: GBP 35,000 – GBP 55,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Type: Permanent Location: Warrington
My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Instrumentation sector. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Warrington on a permanent basis.
Qualifications
BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
3 or more years of industry experience working in a similar Mechanical Design role
Ideally some experience in High Precision and Injection Moulding
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation
Excellent proficiency with CAD software: SolidWorks or similar
Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
Ability to understand system requirements
Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Able to travel nationally and internationally on occasion
Role Responsibilities
Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
Leading client projects to convert ideas into designs
Working on new product concepts
Involved in the product design and development process using CAD
Working with high precision instrumentation products
Using injection moulding methods to produce products
Conducting design reviews
Producing the relevant documentation that is required
