We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our busy logistics facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this hands-on role, you will be integral to the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your tasks will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as loading and unloading trucks. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is crucial for Safety and efficiency. We are committed to providing a secure work environment, supplying all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring strict adherence to all Safety protocols. This position involves consistent physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and requires individuals who are energetic and detail-oriented. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and stock inventory in an efficient manner.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory tracking and stock checks as needed.
- Follow all company policies and Safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Adhere to guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling.
- Support the smooth operation of our logistics functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and basic equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
