This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage the allocation and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule and track shipments.
- Oversee the efficient handling of goods, including occasional Lifting requirements.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on warehouse activities and performance metrics.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Safety regulations and best practices, including PPE requirements.
- Ability to occasionally perform Lifting tasks up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
