Become a Distribution Center Associate in Richmond, Virginia! This dynamic role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and packing and shipping orders. Your contribution is vital to our Logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. We are committed to a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to enhance Safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in stocktaking activities.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Involve significant physical activity, including consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require consistent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
