We are seeking a diligent Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. This role is fundamental to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking them according to order specifications, and then packing them securely for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are paramount in this position. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves and storage locations based on order sheets or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate pallet jacks and other picking/packing equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Follow guidelines for safe lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse roles is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift. Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
