We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker for our facility in San Diego, California. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics and distribution operations. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision, using RF scanners.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including aisles and storage areas.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping preparations, ensuring all orders are correctly labeled and staged.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support overall logistics efficiency.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- A commitment to following all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
