Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and unload incoming materials, verifying against shipping documents.
- Sort and store inventory in designated locations, maintaining accurate records and organization.
- Pick and pack orders according to specific instructions, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Load outgoing shipments, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to transport materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Report any damages, shortages, or safety concerns to supervision promptly.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and support the logistics team as needed.
- Follow all lifting guidelines to ensure safe and efficient material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE is non-negotiable.
