Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with speed and precision.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts upon certification, to move materials safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counting.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and free from hazards, following all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and troubleshoot any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, particularly concerning safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety vests, gloves, and footwear.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility.
- Support inventory management processes to minimize loss and ensure product integrity.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior warehouse or distribution experience is highly desirable.
- Capacity for sustained physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Familiarity with basic inventory systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within the logistics field.
