Role Description

This is a part-time hours per week), on-site role for a Behavior Technician at our facility in Lemont, or in home in Shorewood, Channahon, Bolingbrook, or Plainfield. The Behavior Technician will work directly with children, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities include delivering individualized therapy plans, recording data accurately, monitoring progress, and fostering skills in areas like communication, social interactions, and daily living activities. Collaboration with families and team members is integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and implementation of behavior intervention plans
• Skills in communication, social interactions, and building relationships with children
• Proficiency in documenting accurate data and reporting results
• Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, families, and team members
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting children with developmental needs
• Minimum of bachelors degree required; additional education in psychology, special education, or related fields is a plus
• Must be available for a minimum of 3 weeknights and a Sat or 4 weeknights
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus
• Willingness to undergo background checks and necessary training
