Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating daily production activities, ensuring optimal workflow, and maintaining tight control over schedules, resources, and output quality. The role requires strong organization, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Oversee production control activities including inventory management, material planning, and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, quality assurance) to resolve production bottlenecks.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, efficiency, and downtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production orders, work instructions, and control logs.
  • Implement and improve production control systems (ERP/MRP) to enhance visibility and traceability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in production coordination and control procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in production coordination or manufacturing operations.
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and control.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/MRP systems strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred or a combination of schooling and years of experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality control systems.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret production data.
