Education And Experience »

• MS Access Development: 5 years.
• Visual Basic for Applications: 5 years.
• ActiveX Data Objects: 5 years.
• MS Access SQL and Query design: 5 years.
• Experience splitting MS Access Databases into Front Ends and Back Ends: 3 years.
• Experience translating the business logic from macros/modules/queries to SQL: 4 years.
• Experience writing stored procedures, PL/SQL and migrating tables from MS Access to SQL Server: 4 years.
• Experience converting MS Access Forms/ Reports to any Web based application: 4 years.

Highly Desired

• QuickBase Rapid Application Development Platform.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities »

• Proficiency in Microsoft Access/VBA for debugging and maintenance of existing forms, queries, and modules.
• Strong SQL Server experience (queries, stored procedures, debugging).
• Experience reverse-engineering and maintaining legacy systems without redesigning them.
• Ability to follow change control, documentation, and testing processes.
• Comfortable working within existing architecture and constraints.
• Understanding of accounting or financial workflow systems preferred.
• Prior experience stabilizing legacy applications during transition to new platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and knowledge
