Shift Leader

Our ice cream shop is a welcoming, community-oriented place known for our unique flavors and warm customer service. We're looking for an enthusiastic Shift Leader to join our team, supporting the Front of House Manager in creating an exceptional experience for every customer who visits.

Role Overview:

As a Shift Leader, you'll assist the Front of House Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising team members during shifts, and ensuring our high standards for service and cleanliness. You'll be a key part of the team, helping lead by example and keeping our shop running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support front-of-house team members during shifts to maintain quality service
• Train new staff and provide guidance during shifts
• Handle point-of-sale operations, manage cash transactions, and resolve minor customer concerns
• Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house area
• Support with basic prep and baking tasks as needed
• Uphold food safety and shop policies, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service preferred
• Strong leadership skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
