Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing the overall employee experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human capital management practices.

Duties

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews using ATS platforms such as Lever and iCIMS.
  • Support employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems like Workday, Paylocity, or Oracle HCM.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits administration.
  • Facilitate employee evaluations and performance management processes to promote talent management.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on change management initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
  • Manage employee relations issues by providing support in conflict management and resolution.
  • Conduct data entry tasks related to payroll, attendance tracking using Kronos or Dayforce, and other HR metrics.
  • Assist in the implementation of affirmative action planning and succession planning strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA regulations, and employment & labor laws.
  • Support training & development initiatives by coordinating training sessions and workshops.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles with a focus on HR functions.
  • Familiarity with human capital management practices and workforce management principles.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA and workers' compensation regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent initiative.
  • Familiarity with various HR software systems such as ADP, Ceridian, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro is advantageous.
