We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings, including group homes and community care environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to care plans, and the ability to monitor patients effectively.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide direct support for individuals with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.
• Assist with mobility and lifting of clients as needed.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, particularly in group home or home health settings, is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care techniques and patient monitoring practices.
• Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility needs.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy.
