My client is seeking a
Junior Electrical Engineer
to contribute to the design and development of advanced mixed-signal electronics used in high-precision navigation systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting, and be capable of taking ownership of sub-systems from concept through verification.

This role is in Concord CA and requires candidate to ONSITE work 4 days a week for 10 hours, off on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze analog and digital circuits for precision data acquisition and control systems.
  • Develop schematics, support PCB layout, and validate performance through lab testing.
  • Conduct simulations and worst-case analyses to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Participate in design reviews and assist in resolving design and production issues.
  • Support documentation, test procedures, and design verification reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in circuit design, testing, and product development.
  • Proficiency with schematic and PCB design tools (Altium, or CAD, or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of analog/digital fundamentals, signal integrity, and power distribution.
  • Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with FPGA, MCU, or embedded system interfaces.
  • Experience with SPICE, Simulink, or MATLAB for analysis and modeling.
  • Exposure to MIL-STD or aerospace/defense hardware requirements.
  • Knowledge in sensor systems, inertial navigation, or precision instrumentation.

Salary is 85,000-125,000 based on experience.
