About

About Us

K9 All Systems designs and installs commercial security and low-voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion solutions, supporting infrastructure, and select fire alarm systems. We manage both local (Atlanta) projects and national projects using a mix of in-house technicians and trusted subcontractor partners.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Project Manager to lead projects from kickoff through closeout with a strong focus on planning, accountability, documentation, and communication. You'll manage a blend of in-town and nationwide jobs, coordinating crews, subcontractors, clients, materials, schedules, and deliverables. This is a mostly in-office role, with occasional travel when required for key milestones or escalations.

What You'll Do

  • Own project execution from handoff → kickoff → scheduling → installation → commissioning → closeout
  • Manage a mix of in-house technicians and subcontractors across Atlanta and national job sites
  • Build and maintain schedules, scope tracking, and action-item accountability
  • Lead client communication: kickoff calls, weekly updates, issue escalation, and closeout coordination
  • Coordinate materials, staging, shipping/receiving, site access requirements, and job readiness
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (notes, checklists, photos, punch lists, as-builts, closeout packets)
  • Ensure quality standards are followed across all jobs (labeling, testing documentation, device naming, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and de-risk projects early with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, engineering, AR) and notify AR when milestones are reached for billing

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct field teams and subcontractors respectfully and effectively
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with clients, technicians, and leadership
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once without losing details
  • High attention to detail (documentation, schedules, scope, closeout requirements)
  • Comfortable working mostly in-office with occasional travel as needed
  • Experience managing both local and out-of-town projects, including remote coordination
  • Working knowledge of cabling infrastructure, including structured network cabling and fiber (scope, sequencing, testing requirements, and standards)

Preferred (Systems Experience)

Experience and/or certifications with one or more of the following:

  • Verkada
  • Brivo
  • Eagle Eye Networks
  • Honeywell

Preferred (Fire Alarm Experience)

Experience with fire alarm systems is a strong plus, including:

  • OSHA (OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 preferred)
  • Manufacturer certifications (Verkada, Brivo, Eagle Eye, Bosch, Honeywell, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, or comparable)

Travel Requirements

This role is primarily based in our office; occasional travel may be required for select projects (kickoffs, critical milestones, escalations, or closeout).
