Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in healthcare HR, and committed to maintaining a workplace grounded in trust and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR operations for a multi-location healthcare organization (recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll).
- Maintain strict compliance with Virginia employment laws and Medicaid/Medicare workforce requirements.
- Conduct employee relations investigations with honesty, discretion, and fairness.
- Build, improve, and enforce systems for HR policy, discipline, staff communication, and compliance documentation.
- Oversee ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate payroll, benefits data, and reporting.
- Support leadership in developing a culture emphasizing accountability, transparency, and employee growth.
- Ensure proper HR file maintenance, auditing, and reporting.
- Maintain strong communication between staff and leadership to promote a healthy workplace culture.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years proven experience as an HR Manager in a licensed healthcare organization (200+ employees).
- Demonstrated record of integrity and stable employment history (no short-term job hopping).
- Excellent written/verbal communication and ability to coordinate across departments.
- Experience with sensitive employee relations matters and payroll compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- SHRM-CP preferred.
- Professional reference check required prior to final offer.

- Emotionally mature and able to process conflict constructively.
- Demonstrated history of staying at least 2+ years in prior roles.
- Strong sense of integrity; able to maintain confidentiality without exception.
- Ability to build trust with multicultural staff (Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese, etc.).
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on HR execution.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000
(Based on verified experience & demonstrated integrity.)
