Maintenance Technician

Rubbercraft (RCC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) who repairs and maintains assigned manufacturing related equipment throughout the facility in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) service on manufacturing equipment, utilities and facilities.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems, including air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, and related support equipment
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage all performed work on all equipment, utilities and facilities including; opening/closing PMs, opening/closing Corrective Work orders (CMs), running reposts, following up on open work,etc.
• Develop and document preventive maintenance procedures for both existing and new equipment.
• Assist in educating and training equipment operators on routine maintenance tasks.
• Actively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities, including preparing reports, performing safety observations, supporting 5S initiatives, and attending EHS training sessions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and effective work environment by following safety protocols and properly using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications:

Education: Requires a High School Diploma/GED or combination of relevant education and work experience may be substituted to meet educational requirements only.

Years' Experience:

• Minimum four (4) years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electric components and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Familiar with reading and interpreting documents, schematics and blueprints.
• Able to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
