Sales Associate

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for promoting a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented and compliant with established policies and procedures. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent customer service and enhancing the customer experience in store through product knowledge.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

● Responsible for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent

customer service

● Responsible for the proper and accurate use and training of the POS, cash handling,

safe audits, and change drops

● Greets and checks in customers in a friendly and welcoming manner

● Assists customers in store, on the phone and processing online orders

● Encourages sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and

sharing product knowledge

● Ensures compliance with legal requirements and has a full understanding of the

training and compliance binder

● Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise

● Upholds the Company policies and procedures and MED compliance standards

● Upholds visual merchandising standards, checking that proper signage, price

tickets, marketing materials, etc. are visible and updated

● Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and well-stocked store as well as ensuring

general housekeeping duties are upheld

● Maintains a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

● Sales experience in a retail store environment preferred, but not required

● Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail

● Reliable, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy

● Ability to work in a fast paced environment

● Ability to work days/nights/weekends/holidays

● High school diploma or equivalent, or GED

Physical requirements

● Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs and be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.

● Must have reliable transportation to store

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
