Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Cooks to join our team. In this role, you will support the cook team by assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and service operations. Your energetic approach will ensure that residents and guests receive nutritious, well-presented meals in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines
  • Prepare food items using proper cooking techniques, including chopping, slicing, and assembling dishes
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
  • Sell meals with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that meets quality standards
  • Support catering events and special dining occasions by helping with setup, serving, and cleanup
  • Follow all food industry regulations related to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food service experiences

Experience

  • Prior experience in cook roles within healthcare or hospitality settings is preferred
  • Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper knife skills for efficient meal prep
  • Experience working in the food industry, including catering or restaurant service roles
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food presentation, and serving standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $26.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
