Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, ensuring correct transactions
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback professionally
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables while maintaining quality service
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food industry tools such as culinary knowledge, food preparation, bussing, and serving techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Prior host/host experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not required
