Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide direction and leadership to matters relating to quality within the company. The incumbent also coordinates all aspects of the local sites Quality Assurance program, including developing and administering the program, training, and coaching employees, and facilitating change throughout the organization. This position establishes plans, policies, and procedures at all levels to ensure that the Quality Assurance program will meet or exceed internal and external customers' needs and expectations.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and promote the company's Quality Assurance program to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the Quality Management System and ensure ISO 9001 compliance, including internal audits.
  • Review and optimize quality systems; develop processes and metrics to support business needs.
  • Oversee quality operations such as MRB, CAPA, SCARs, inspections, and supplier reviews.
  • Act as liaison for customers and suppliers on quality issues and resolution of challenges.
  • Manage data collection and maintain quality information in SAP.
  • Support new product development using SPC, FMEA, DOE, and other quality tools.
  • Conduct root-cause investigations for internal and external issues.
  • Lead and supervise the quality and metrology team.
  • Establish and enforce quality procedures, standards, and systems across operations.

What is Required for this Role?:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8+ years of Quality Management experience in manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3 years in a management role; semiconductor or automotive experience preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification; experience achieving ISO certifications.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, SPC, and related IT tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Skilled in problem-solving techniques (root-cause, 8D) and risk analysis.
  • Strong metrology experience; IATF 16949 knowledge preferred.
  • SAP expertise and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
