We host bi-weekly live and online auctions at our headquarters in Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, serving buyers and sellers across the U.S. and internationally. Role Description
The Receptionist is responsible for managing front-desk operations and providing administrative support across departments. This role interacts with customers, vendors, and internal staff daily and ensures smooth communication and workflow within the office. The Receptionist will also assist with clerical tasks, mail processing, and data entry related to auction operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate team members or voicemail
- Greet and assist visitors upon arrival
- Take, record, and distribute messages for staff
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Coordinate express mail and package deliveries (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies
- Enter service work orders in NetSuite
- Enter parts invoices into NetSuite
- Process title changes
- Support auction-related administrative tasks
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Educational & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
Essential Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and may infrequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
