Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties

  • Design, develop, and analyze mechanical, civil, or systems engineering projects using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in manufacturing or construction processes and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage project schedules, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB for data analysis, scripting, system control, and automation tasks.
  • Develop schematics, system designs, and technical documentation to support project development and implementation.
  • Perform research and data collection in laboratory or field settings to inform design decisions.
  • Apply GD&T principles for precise mechanical design and quality control.
  • Operate or collaborate with teams using tools like 3D scanners and laboratory equipment for system testing and validation.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) within manufacturing or automation environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on project management activities related to manufacturing, construction, or research initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quantum Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Proven experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D scanners is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, system design, schematics creation, and GD&T standards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C++, MATLAB, along with scripting skills for automation and data analysis.
  • Experience with project scheduling, project management methodologies, root cause analysis, and data collection techniques.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes or construction environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), systems engineering concepts, and laboratory research methods is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets; experience in data analysis is essential.
