We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. You will be instrumental in supporting our supply chain and contributing to the overall success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Pick and stage orders accurately based on pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as needed, including sweeping, organizing, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, typically up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to Safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
