Join our team as a Material Handler in San Francisco, California! This critical role supports the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations by managing the movement of materials within the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Your dedication to Safety and meticulous handling of goods will be paramount. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to handle physical demands.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment or internal use.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to Safety standards.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and Safety regulations, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, which involves substantial Lifting.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our Logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Capability to perform frequent and heavy Lifting.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Logistics workflows and inventory management.
