Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina, to contribute to the efficient and safe operation of our advanced distribution facility. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be involved in maintaining the equipment, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting the overall logistics flow. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude and a strong commitment to Safety. You will perform routine checks, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery. Your role is crucial in minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. We are looking for individuals who are meticulous, proactive, and possess a solid understanding of warehouse operations and Safety best practices. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, palletizers).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to ensure operational continuity.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
  • Assist with the receiving, stocking, and shipping of materials, ensuring proper handling.
  • Ensure all areas of the warehouse adhere to strict Safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely when required.
  • Wear and maintain appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and other protective gear.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, especially regarding Lifting and equipment operation.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
  • Participate in Safety training and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Ability to operate and maintain warehouse machinery.
  • Knowledge of industrial Safety standards and practices.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including Lifting, climbing, and working in various warehouse conditions.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
