Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or electronic pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated packing or shipping areas.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, with proper training and certification.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, essential for efficient logistics.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately to a supervisor.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Be mindful of safe Lifting techniques and ergonomic practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to read and understand order information.
- Experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Demonstrated commitment to following Safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
