This position requires a strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that products reach our customers accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other conveyances.
- Move materials to and from storage areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper record-keeping.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in regular safety training and team meetings.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and organization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, especially concerning Lifting restrictions and safe handling practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of workplace Safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
