About
We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our vibrant team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders in a timely manner. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves using scanning devices and order sheets, preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of performing manual tasks, and committed to upholding Safety standards within the Logistics environment. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced distribution center and be a vital part of our supply chain. We provide essential PPE and expect strict adherence to all Safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and review order pick lists or use scanning devices to locate items.
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves and storage locations accurately.
- Verify the quantity and item numbers against the order details.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory control through accurate picking and stock checks.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed, following Safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate any issues with inventory or orders to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Familiarity with Logistics and inventory systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable wearing and using required PPE.
