Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Seattle, Washington. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and optimizing inventory management processes. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision, a deep understanding of logistics principles, and the ability to motivate and guide a team. Your responsibilities will include scheduling staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting regular safety inspections. You will also be involved in training new employees, ensuring they are familiar with all warehouse procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations will be key. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and dispatch.
  • Manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve productivity and performance goals.
  • Ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping and receiving.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement strategies for inventory optimization.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Implement and monitor proper Lifting procedures to prevent injuries.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and audits to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage warehouse staff schedules and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and efficiency.
