We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our St. Louis facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety. This role is crucial to our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods. You will be expected to lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are performed safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management on replenishment needs.
- Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE .
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Assist in lifting and moving heavy items when necessary.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE .
