Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations accurately and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse as needed for production or shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is essential.
- Valid forklift operator certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 70 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Willingness to wear and properly use all required PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills are vital for coordinating within the logistics team.
